To create a unique design for each bag, the black kendo uniform and katazome fabric will be modified by cutting and stitching different sections together with “SASHIKO” to form the bag’s pattern. It also be used for the bottom base of leather to protect the bag, while the kendo jacket’s collar position will serve as a diagonal shoulder strap within leather.
Discussion is welcome on how to further redesign and make each bag truly one-of-a-kind.
