To create a unique design for each bag, the kendo uniform and apron (KIKKOMAN) will be modified by cutting and stitching different sections together with embroidery to form the bag's pattern. Leather will be used for the inner lining and to create the foundation for the supporting and carrying parts, while the kendo jacket’s collar position will serve as a diagonal shoulder strap. The strap can be adjusted in length using Shoulang Yam Dyed cotton rope.
Shoulang Yam Dyed will be used to create a deep reddish-brown color and unique patterns, which will form naturally based on factors such as sunlight, wind direction, humidity, and terrain.
Discussion is welcome on how to further redesign and make each bag truly one-of-a-kind.
